Thanx for believing

Danny, this is to you.

I don't have a lot to say except for thanx for believing in me when i did not believe in myself. You may be gone but you are not forgotten, your spirit will live on in those you helped. I am gonna be selfish here because i can be. You took me in like a son, and you loved me with your whole heart. I looked up to you like a father. I did not always agree with what you did but i agreed with why you did it. You taught me so very much in the short time i knew you. You broke me like noone else could. You made me see the better side of things. You helped me become the man I am today. You held me when i was broken and you kicked my a** when I was stubborn. You never lied to me, you knew me better than anyone. You shoveled my bill S**t back in my Face. I needed a man like you in my life. as Much as you pushed me to the limits, you were right, I won't die. Well thats all Danny. I love you and you will always be in my head and by my side. Thank you again. Peace My Friend.

I love you and miss you dearly.

JUNE 4, 2006

Well its been 4 months since you moved onto bigger and better things. I went to a memorial for you and the others that the funeral home did services for. for every service they do, they donate 50 dollars to a trail in the Rockwood conservation area, just where you would have been at peace, surrounded by the higher power. For it was him who created all of that. It's kinda weird I write these as if I were talking directly to you. You already know I talk to you quite often. I really enjoy the conversations we have while I am at work. I talk to you more freely now than I did before. Something happened today, it happened because I asked you to have it happen. I just have to be able to accept it now. Thank you for your teachings. I miss you everyday. I am at the club and expect you to walk around the corner and holler at me in the loving caring way you did. You were misunderstood by so many. But you kept the real ones close, and the phonies very far by the way you were. I have prayed and asked you for the strength to do such a thing. Maybe not in the way you did it but in my own way. I have had comments made about how much I can be like you at times, not necessarily the approach but the personality. Your dear Patricia has told me that some people will not like me because I have the potential to be a "li'l Dan Murray". Ed has also made the same comments. The thing that is even stranger than that is I am proud when I am told that. I looked up to you so much. You taught me more in the 16 months you were in my life than I learned in the 20 years before that. I am forever grateful you were brought into my life when I hit my bottom. I love you Danny. I will carry on with what you taught in one aspect or another.
